We were tasked with successfully launching the tournament’s online platforms, creating a multi-layered digital and social campaign and maximizing the digital footprint of the Saudi International.
Our first objective was to raise awareness of the event; introducing a sport that was completely new to Saudi Arabia and a tournament that was coming to the Kingdom for the very first time! We built social proof and populated the feeds with information about the event, world-class players and the sport in general.
For fans at home, our mobile-first content strategy created an almost-live experience. #NoFomo
To encourage user-generated brand content at the event, we leveraged social tools such as Snapchat, Snap Lenses, GIFs and geofilters. All content was optimised to ensure a holistic, true-to-platform experience.
Our communication strategy included community-specific messaging in English and Arabic, across distinct phases of the event both locally and globally. Using timely curated content, strategic media buying, remarketing and influencer strategies, we ensured that Saudi International’s platforms were the authority on all things #SaudiIntGolf.
With over 74 Million digital impressions, the campaign was a straight shot down the fairway.
