From selfies to sales!
To celebrate the MAC x eL Seed makeup range, we were a little extra, and created TWO AR lens experiences as part of a 360' digital beauty journey.
Our multilayer approach included the first Marker Tech AR lens for a global beauty launch! Our lens brought the makeup to life at the launch party and was viewed over 900,000 times in only a few hours!
Then we turned selfies into sales and gave fans the chance to try three makeup looks in three seconds. Using social ads and in-store Snapcodes, our Snap lens made try-before-you-buy an (augmented) reality.
Talk about beauty influencing, over 208,000 people have scanned the makeup lens and it's received over 3.69 million views!
The success of the campaign highlights the importance of encompassing the users' entire journey and putting the product (digitally) into the palm of their hand.
